Tastes
of the Hill
On Thursday, October 14, Town of Richmond Hill Mayor Dave
Barrow, “Tastes of the Hill” Chair Vito Spatafora
and event sponsor representatives
gathered at The Host Fine Indian Cuisine Restaurant to sample
some of the many food choices that will be available at the
upcoming “Tastes of the Hill” Multicultural Food
Festival. Councillors Arnie Warner and Greg Beros were also
on-hand to help showcase and promote the event.
The Festival will be held on Sunday, October 14 from 1 to
5 p.m. at the Richmond Green Sports Centre (1300 Elgin Mills
Road East). Tickets are $10, which allows patrons to sample
food from every vendor. They are available at the door or
in advance by calling (905) 737-8985, ext. 6007 (children
7 years and younger are free).
With up to 40 vendors available, festival-goers will be able
to enjoy a sensational variety of foods from some of Richmond
Hill's finest dining establishments. From Chinese and Japanese
to Italian, Indian, Persian, Thai and Greek, there's sure
to be something to perk up your palette!
